As an oil painter based in Wellington, New Zealand, Carol draws inspiration from the country’s native wildlife and lush vegetation. Specializing in birds, animals, and landscapes, she has a deep passion for capturing the beauty and essence of New Zealand’s natural world.

Painting since 2006, Carol is largely self-taught but has refined her skills through workshops, independent study, and continuous experimentation. Over time, she has developed a unique style and technique—one that embraces imperfection. By intentionally leaving certain areas unfinished, she invites the viewer to engage with the piece, allowing them to complete the story in their own way.

Her work is exhibited in galleries and art shows across New Zealand, and her pieces are held in private collections both nationally and internationally.
