Napier based artist and primary school art teacher, Catherine enjoys the best of both her creative worlds.

Always motivated by bright beautiful layers of colours, bold brushstrokes and floral abstract designs based on nature, Catherine is currently creating a new series of textured mixed media paintings.

Catherine specialised in painting and photography at Teachers College and has continued to exhibit her work in art expos, galleries and design stores throughout NZ.

With over twenty years’ primary school teaching experience and working in the film and television industry, art has always been her joy and her constant.
