Elisa Koski-Taylor is an artist and a fourth generation woodworker who immigrated from Finland to New Zealand over a decade ago. She has a BA from Finalnd in Furniture Making and Design.
Combining the elements of Scandinavian minimalism with native upcycled timber Elisa creates timeless works of art, and everyday household items of beauty. She uses different geometric lines, patterns, and dimensions. Each piece respects the character and history of the reclaimed materials it uses. Elisa’s creations keep alive the artistry of her forebears.
