Kylie Law is an artist whose authentic mixed media style celebrates the beauty of nature.
She transforms delicate blooms using mixed media techniques and a feminine colour palette. Color, shape, and composition are defining features of her unique works, and it’s the interplay of these elements that makes her art instantly recognizable.
Proudly self-taught, she has dedicated years to mastering the nuances of colour mixing, product application, and building a professional art practice. Before embracing painting as a full-time career, she spent 25 years in marketing and communications. During that time, she and her husband started a family. Despite her busy schedule, she carved out spare hours—often painting late into the night—to nurture her lifelong dream of being an artist.
Her work is featured in select galleries across New Zealand, and she also sells directly to collectors. Exhibiting is a deep passion for her, a journey that began when she displayed her first piece at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts at age 18. Whether presenting a single artwork or an entire collection, she finds the process deeply rewarding, cherishing the excitement and anticipation of opening nights.
