Lorraine Cholmondeley-Smith made the journey into art through a natural progression from her work in interior design.

Her training has been very casual – painting with friends and attending workshops.  Lorraine loves art, in all its forms.  She is inspired by the Impressionists – their colour, subjects and style of work is in tune with her temperament. Embracing Impressionism, together with using the colours and shapes of nature, has given Lorraine an unsophisticated style. Working in oil, acrylic and fabric gives her freedom to create depth and colour on both canvas and board.
