Sarah is a Hawke’s Bay based Artist and Art Teacher who has been teaching, painting, and creating in Napier since 2005. She originally studied and exhibited in the UK, specialising in Ceramics and Glass.  

Her work is a celebration of the connection between Nature and Design. She incorporates bold colours, layered textures, and rhythmic compositions that echo the natural environment in an abstracted manner. The symmetry of nature and the ethereal beauty of wildlife inspire her to depict transformations of flora and fauna through her paintings.

Her recent work has encompassed Painting and Mixed Media techniques, enjoying the range of outcomes that can be experimented with and used as teaching tools. 2D, 3D and the spaces in-between.
