Sarah is a Hawke’s Bay based Artist and Art Teacher who has been teaching, painting, and creating in Napier since 2005. She originally studied and exhibited in the UK, specialising in Ceramics and Glass.  

Her love of pattern and the natural world has always been the root of her inspiration.  Revealing layers and texture have, over time, become her focus. The symmetry of nature and the ethereal beauty of New Zealand wildlife have inspired her to paint transformations of flora and fauna.  Her recent work has encompassed Painting and Mixed Media techniques, enjoying the range of outcomes that can be experimented with and used as teaching tools. 2D, 3D and the spaces in-between.
